Beijing Weekend Tour

Tour date: Enjoy Thanksgiving weekend in BeijingFrom the glorious imperial architecture of the Forbidden City to the proposed space-age design of the new National Theatre building, China’s capital is a city of visual contrast.

Day1 (Thursday): Arrive in Beijing
Fly from home cities to Beijing at noon/afternoon. Free time for shopping at the Silk Alley market near American Embassy. (dinner on your own today) Overnight at the Grand Mercure Xidan hotel(4*)

Day2 (Friday):Beijing
Visit the largest public square in the world, Tian'anmen, home of the sear of government: the Great Hall of the people. see the architectural masterpiece, the Forbidden (or Imperial) City. In the early afternoon, your guide will escort you to the fabled Summer Palace, resort home of the Dowager Empress, Ci Xi. That evening, attend an amazing Chinese Acrobatic Performance. 
Overnight at the Grand Mercure Xidan hotel.

Day3(saturday):Beijing

Visit the ancient wonder, the 2000-year old Great Wall of China, one of the most spectacular structures ever built by man. On the way back pay a visit the 2008 Olympic Sites like the Bird Nest and Water Cube.Tonight you are going to taste the famous Beijing roast duck at dinner.Overnight at the Grand Mercure Xidan hotel

Day4 (sunday):Beijing back to home cities
Free time for shopping at Hongqiao market (pearl market) or have a stroll through the Tiantan area (the Temple of Heaven). Return to home cities later that afternoon.
