Day 1—Late afternoon or evening—some of the cities need fly via Beijing
Fly from home cities to Hohhot—the capital of Inner Mongolia
Overnight in Hohhot. (4*)
Day 2: ( B L D)
The traditional nomadic mongol way of life is still very evident on the grasslands. You’ll see herdsmen on horseback (although many of them now ride motorcycles ) and their dwellings, the round tents (“ghers” or “yurts”). This morning the group will take a tour bus out to gegentala grassland area. Enjoy the scenic ride along the way. Upon arrival you will experience traditional grassland activities horse-racing and mongolian style wrestling games. Later that day visit the home of a herdsman and his family. Visit Ao Bao and enjoy mongolian style singing and dancing . After dinner,you will stay overnight in a Mongolian yurt. (2 persons in each yurt)
Day 3: (B L D)
Experience sunrise on the grasslands, an amazing view. Travel by bus to the resonant sand gorge. This gorge, filled to brim with sand dunes, is the beginning of the gobi desert. Take a camel ride to the top of the dunes. The fun-loving adventurers in the group will enjoy the sand-sliding activity. Overnight in Erdos city (4* hotel)
Day 4: (B L )
This morning you will visit Ghenghis Khan’s Mausoleum. Visiting here has become a ritual for both inner and outer mongolians. The main attraction near Baotou is the Wudang Zhao, a monastery of the yellow sect of tibetan buddhism. Built around 1749,this facility once housed more than a thousand monks but today is managed by only a handful that maintain the facility for pilgrimages and tourists.

Visit the Dazhao Monastery and the provincial museum.
